Doctor of Pharmacy, I pride myself in the breadth of knowledge I have in biomedical and life sciences. I am also an experienced and qualified translator, truly passionate about languages, who holds a master's degree in linguistics and a Professional Certificate in Scientific Translation.

The combination of my language skills and my scientific background enable me to effectively translate and deliver high-quality documents.

Along with a doctorate degree in Pharmacy, I have an added concentration in Biomedical Sciences and a master’s degree in Public Health. I have worked in the pharmaceutical industry (sanofi pasteur MSD) and as a researcher in French public health government agencies (Invs - French Institute for Public Health, ANSES - French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety ). I have published scientific papers and have participated in various events and scientific conferences.

Passionate about languages, I am an experienced linguist. With a Master's degree in linguistics, I was a french teacher at the Alliance Française de Houston for 5 years and have been accredited to be a DELF examiner (french language proficiency exam).

In 2017, I was awarded a Professional Certificate in Scientific Translation with Special Merit by Words Language Services in Ireland.

Since 2016, I have worked as a freelance translator for various translation agencies and direct clients.

I am a member of several professional organizations, which allows me to stay informed and network with my peers:

the Société française des traducteurs (SFT), the largest French translators association. As such, I abide by its code of professional conduct.

- the International Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (IAPTI)

- the ProZ Certified PRO network

In order to to keep my knowledge current and to develop my skills in specialized area, I participate every year at various training session. Here are some examples of the latest I have attended:

- SDL Trados Studio 2017 for Translators—Level I

- Translating Diagnostic Imaging

- Une vue d’ensemble de la révision et des contrôles qualité

Fluent in French, German and English I have spent time in different countries, which has added to my degree of understanding of each language:

After growing up in France and starting my career there, I moved to the US where I have lived for six years. I frequently spend time in Germany as part of my family is German and lives in Lower Saxony. Additionally, during my studies I completed an internship at a London Laboratory (noted in my publications).

The combination of these experiences gives me a deeper understanding of cultural differences, which are relevant to the translation process.
